Building 43 Winery - We Will Rise Again! 🍷

Our Story (So Far...)

Dear Wine Lovers and CEQA Enthusiasts,

You may have heard that the City of Alameda decided to evict us from our beloved Building 43. But let us tell you something - WE'RE NOT GOING DOWN WITHOUT A FIGHT! (This is a satirical website - we're not actually affiliated with any real business or legal entity)

🏛️ Our Historic Hangar Story 🏛️

Building 43 Winery was located in a historic hangar at the former Naval Air Station Alameda, surrounded by many historic parking lots (which are obviously the most important part of any historic district). After missing many rent payments to the City of Alameda, the city finally decided to evict the business from their hangar at 2440 Monarch Street. But don't worry - we're not done fighting for our right to occupy prime historic parking lot real estate!

The eviction was the culmination of years of lease disputes, building code violations, and our heroic efforts to protect every single "historic parking lot" from the evil forces of food banks and other community services that dared to expand near our precious views.

🏛️ Our Heroic Stand at City Council 🏛️

Watch our fearless leader defend the sacred "historic parking lot" and fight for justice against the evil food bank expansion that threatened our precious views!

🍷 Our Mission 🍷

Protect every single "historic parking lot" in Alameda
Ensure all food banks follow proper CEQA procedures
Defend our right to participate in city council meetings
Make undrinkable wine (eventually, when we get our building back)

🚧 COMING SOON 🚧

• New location (TBD - we're looking at some prime "historic parking lots")
